- Gyriform (linear, convoluted, or serpentine) calcifications may also be caused by
- infarction,
- glioma,
- purulent meningitis,
- leukemia (following intrathecal administration of methotrexate and skull irradiation),
- ossifying meningoencephalopathy, and
- subarachoid fat.
