GYRIFORM INTRACRANIAL CALCIFICATION


  • Gyriform (linear, convoluted, or serpentine) calcifications may also be caused by
  •  infarction, 
  • glioma,
  •  purulent meningitis, 
  • leukemia (following intrathecal administration of methotrexate and skull irradiation), 
  • ossifying meningoencephalopathy, and 
  • subarachoid fat.
